DELL STUDIO XPS 1640 – FIRST IMPRESSIONS – PART 01

This has probably been done at least a dozen times already. Just a standard run-through of the port layouts, other hardware/ergonomics, and a rundown of the basic specs & build config. It is the Blu-Ray Burner. the Intel P8600 (2.4GHz) CPU, ATI 4670, RGBLED Screen. Only thing I really wish it had was a numeric keypad, but I knew that before buying. There’s a few more things, mostly related to software, that I will include in Part 02. One of the big ones is the touchpad. I haven’t messed with it much yet, but supposedly it has gestures and simple multitouch capability.

Newegg Supreme Combo Part II: The Build

www.newegg.com Time to get our hands dirty with Part II: The Build. Jeremy, one of our eggxpert Community Mods, graciously offered to assist me in assembling this beast. We had a great time drooling over the top-end hardware and learning the ins and outs of the Level 10, and even managed to get it done without the usual bloodletting that most builds demand as a sacrifice (though I believe Jeremy cut himself intentionally toward the end, fearing that we might not get through POST if the PC-building gods were not appeased). [CUSTOM] PS3 P5H mit-de hack ~(Part 1)~ “Beginning”

THIS HACK IS DONE BY INSERTING A CUSTOM BLU-RAY DISC INTO THE PS3. BY BURNING THE BLU-RAY DISC WITH THE mit-de HACK, THE PS3 WILL RECOGNIZE IT AS A GAME. faqs: – It doesn’t to anything at the moment, but as you can see, we’ve opened a whole new world of hacking for the PS3. – Only a blu-ray disc, and a blu-ray burner is required together with the hack. – It’s a soft hack, no hardware modification needed. – We’ll release more vids in the future when we’ve achieved something new. – mit-de hack stands for Mystic injection tools – Disc edition
